THE MUSTAHAAB DEEDS TO BE PERFORMED ON EID-UL-ADHA


1. To use a miswaak before going to eid prayer.
2. To perform Ghusl.
3. To wear nice scents.
4. To wear clean cloths.
5. To wake up early I the morning of Eid.
6. Must act as if you are fasting until you pray Eid prayer.
7. After eid prayer it is a good deed to eat from the meat of your qurbani.
8. If it is possible it is best to walk to the masjid.
9. After the prayer, it is a good deed to take another route back home.
10. To be happy.
11. To give a lot of SADAQAH.
12. It is good to recite the following dua to family and friends: “Tagabbalallahu minnaa wa minkoum”(May ALLAH (swt) accept mine and your prayers)
13. To shake hands and greet each other.
14. To read out loud the Takbir on the way to the Eid prayer.
15. if possible during the night of Eid Hatm-I Enbiya and Hatmi istigfar should be made followed by the Tesbih salah. (Hatm-I Istigfar is done by saying “ Estagfirullahe”l-aziym ve etubu ileyk” 1001 times) (from dua and prayer)
